I’m using my daughter’s camera at the moment Barbara, so I’ll ask her to lend me the manuel (I hope she can find it!) I love finding new settings on a camera and improving the photos I’m taking. If the camera has a pets setting, I can practice on my two cats and the dog. I have so much to learn, but find photography is a lot of fun!

Our duck visitor is the cutest thing. He knows where the stairs are to get out of the pool and after he hops out, he stands on the pavers, flaps his wings around and ‘quacks’ for ages!

He is a cutie Kathy. You should see him splashing around, he has a ball! I’m perfectly happy for him to visit, but my husband grumbles about his “droppings”. I think they are a small price to pay to see the little guy so happy.

He’s determined NOT to let me take his photo in good light Quinn, that’s for sure. He was at the pool again, splashing away, at 7am this morning!

Seems like your duck visitor has a mind of his own and hears a different drummer. I love the little puddles he made around his feet…

Does your camera have a pets and children setting? I find it works well for me when trying to catch things that move and wiggle a lot.

What a cutie! Maybe this duck likes having this “pond” to himself (and, at times, his lady friend). So thoughtful of you to invite her back later in the day, as well. Always, so accommodating of our fine-feathered friends? Love it!
